Falling In Love With London

My first real installment of sharing my wonderful trip to Ireland and London with you starts now! Well I left the horrible heat of the valley on Wednesday June 25th and arrived in London on Friday June 27th. I was exhausted when I came off the plane and stood in the customs line for an hour and a half, but I did manage to read a rocking article on Jens Lekman in my Under The Radar magazine. Once I was through the customs line and once I had my bags, outside to the real London I went. It was like a rush of wind hitting my face, that's how fast I fell in love with the beautiful and unique city. I boarded my coach (bus) and sat almost in the back. As I sat there, my eyes that had just minutes ago been so tired were wakened by the sheer elegance of this new place. That night I went to my first ever pub, but not before visiting Hide Park and taking a picture of Princess Di's home.

The next day was filled with lots of sightseeing around London and a trip to the breathtaking grounds of Windsor Castle. The outside of the Castle was beautiful, but the inside was much to stuffy for my taste, the queen can keep it! I think I ate like three croissants that day, they were my drug over there. And my day was finished out with an exciting phone call in one of the famous red telephone booths!
